Lily Pad Named 2026 Excellence in Nonprofit Award Recipient

We are honored to share that Lily Pad has been named a 2026 Excellence in Nonprofit Award recipient. This recognition will be featured in Greenville Business Magazine and its sister publications across South Carolina, published by Integrated Media Publishing, highlighting organizations that are making a meaningful impact through leadership, service, and community trust.

This recognition comes as this work continues to grow across the state. What began as a simple step of faith has become a growing network of spaces where children experiencing foster care are met with comfort, dignity, and care on some of the hardest days of their lives.

Across South Carolina, we are seeing the impact firsthand. Children who once waited in cold, unfamiliar environments are now stepping into spaces designed with soft lighting, comfortable furniture, and thoughtful details that help them feel safe. Caseworkers are supported with environments that reflect the care they provide. Communities are coming together in meaningful ways to serve children they may never meet, but deeply care about.

This award is not just a recognition of Lily Pad. It reflects the strength of the partnerships that make this work possible. It reflects the generosity of donors, the dedication of volunteers, and the collaboration of Department of Social Services teams across the state. Together, we are building something that is not only growing, but trusted, consistent, and rooted in care for every child who walks through these doors.

We are grateful to be part of a community that continues to say yes to this work.

If you would like to be part of what is growing across South Carolina, we invite you to give, serve, or share this story with others.
