Trauma-Informed Room Features
Every Detail Matters
Crafted with care. Rooted in safety.
We believe every child and victim is made in the image of God and worthy of dignity, comfort, and care.
Every Lily Pad space is thoughtfully designed to help children and victims feel safe, comforted, and cared for during moments of crisis. Through trauma-informed design, calming sensory elements, soft lighting, and comforting details, we create environments that support emotional safety, reduce stress, and restore dignity during difficult moments.
Why Trauma Informed Design Matters
Children experiencing foster care and victims of trauma often navigate difficult situations inside offices never designed for emotional safety or healing. Harsh lighting, noise, uncertainty, and overstimulating environments can increase stress.
Each Lily Pad room is intentionally designed to feel calmer, softer, and more supportive through sensory-friendly elements, comforting textures, thoughtful layouts, and welcoming spaces that help children, victims, and families feel more regulated and at ease. These environments also support the caseworkers, investigators, and victim advocates serving them daily.

Soaked in Prayer
Before the first blanket is folded or the first game placed on a shelf, these rooms are prayed over. By volunteers. By donors. By staff.
We believe every child and victim is made in the image of God and worthy of dignity, comfort, and care.
We ask God to protect the children who enter, to strengthen the caseworkers who serve them, and to fill the room with peace that surpasses understanding.
Because while our spaces offer physical comfort, we believe true healing comes from the One who knows each child by name.
