Hampton County DSS

Hampton County is in the Lowcountry Region of South Carolina. It is in the southern part of the state, near the Georgia boarder, almost at the southern tip of the state. Hampton is the second county in the Lowcountry receive a Lily Pad.
A contact from Hampton County reached out to Cara to share that they had recently removed nearly everything from the room used for visitation and were beginning to make plans to replace furnishings. After receiving a recommendation from contacts at the Orangeburg office, she reached out to Lily Pad. Since the space was currently empty, it made perfect sense to schedule an installation sooner rather than later.
In an effort to always be as efficient with travel as possible, we researched the area and found that Hampton County is only about 30 minutes from Bamberg County. With that in mind, we coordinated with both offices and decided to complete installations at both locations during the same weekend.
With a sofa that folds down into a bed and an extra rollaway bed there is plenty of sleep space. In addition to all of the standard Lily Pad items: books, sensory toys, weighted blankets, TVs with a Nintendo Switch and DVD player, and coloring supplies, our team created a custom activity wall including a basketball feature.
